Yes, the iTel Mobile Dialer works on any Internet connection — Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G LTE, or 5G. For best call quality, use Wi-Fi or 4G/5G. For slower 3G connections, enable Low Bandwidth Mode in the dialer settings to reduce codec bitrate and maintain a stable call.

Yes, the iTel Mobile Dialer is fully supported on iOS 14.0 and later (iPhone 8 and newer). Download it from the Apple App Store. The iOS version supports all the same features as Android — HD voice, custom caller ID, push notifications, and background calling.

In the MoSIP Dialer, go to Settings → Accounts → Add Account. Enter: Display Name (your name), Username (your iTelVoIP SIP username), Password, and Domain (sip.itelvoip.com). Enable Transport: TLS for encrypted calling, or UDP for standard. Set STUN server to stun.itelvoip.com. Save and the account will register within seconds.

Yes, the MoSIP Dialer supports up to 10 simultaneous SIP accounts. This is ideal for businesses, resellers, and VoIP professionals who need to manage calls across multiple SIP providers or accounts. Each account can have its own codec settings, caller ID, and transport configuration.

Custom Caller ID lets you display any verified phone number when making VoIP calls. To set it up: log in to your customer portal, go to Caller ID → Add Number, enter the number you want to display, complete phone or SMS verification, and the custom caller ID activates immediately. Available on Business and Enterprise plans.

You can only use a number that you legally own and have verified via a phone call or SMS. This prevents misuse and complies with telecommunications regulations worldwide. You cannot use random or spoofed numbers — only verified numbers associated with real phone services that you control.

Quality 4

We operate on Tier-1 carrier networks with multiple redundant routes ensuring 99.9% uptime and HD voice quality. Our intelligent call routing automatically selects the best route for every call.

Choppy or robotic audio is usually caused by insufficient bandwidth, high packet loss, or jitter. Try these fixes: (1) Switch to Wi-Fi if on mobile data. (2) Enable Low Bandwidth Mode and select G.711 codec. (3) Move closer to your router. (4) Disable VPN if you're using one — some VPNs introduce high latency. (5) Check our network status page. If the issue continues, contact support with your call log.

iTelVoIP supports the following voice codecs: Opus (HD, 6-510 kbps), G.722 (HD wideband), G.711 uLaw and aLaw (standard), G.729 (low bandwidth), and iLBC (available in MoSIP Dialer). We recommend Opus for best HD voice quality on fast connections, and G.711 uLaw for maximum compatibility.

iTelVoIP guarantees 99.9% platform uptime and uses Tier-1 carrier interconnects for the best possible call routing. However, call quality also depends on your local Internet connection speed and stability. For guaranteed HD quality, we recommend a connection with at least 1 Mbps upload/download speed and under 150ms latency per leg.

Security 3

All calls are encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) for signaling and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) for media. Your conversations are private and protected.

Yes. iTelVoIP uses TLS (Transport Layer Security) for SIP signaling encryption and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) for voice media encryption. This means both your call setup and voice audio are encrypted end-to-end across our network. Enable TLS in your iTel Mobile Dialer or MoSIP Dialer settings for maximum security.

No. All VoIP calls on iTelVoIP are protected with SRTP media encryption, which prevents eavesdropping on the voice stream. SIP signaling is encrypted with TLS 1.3. As with any VoIP service, calls are decrypted at our servers before being routed to the PSTN for termination — we do not share call recordings with third parties.

Technical 1

Registration Failed usually means incorrect SIP credentials or a network issue. Check: (1) Username and password match your iTelVoIP portal exactly. (2) Domain is sip.itelvoip.com. (3) Port is 5060. (4) Your Internet connection is active. (5) Your network doesn't block UDP port 5060 — try switching to TCP or TLS. If the problem persists, contact our 24/7 support team.
